Join VNN and the Montana Department of Corrections for an interactive Justice-Involved Re-Entry Simulation on May 13 from 1:00–4:00 PM at the United Way in Billings. This experience is designed to reflect the real-world challenges justice-involved individuals often face during re-entry into the community, including barriers related to employment, housing, healthcare, finances, and family stress.

Expect laughs, commentary, and real talk—what the movie got right, what it didn’t, and everything in between. Volunteers will be on hand to greet guests and guide them in. On Sunday, December 7 join the Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Yellowstone National Cemetery. This meaningful gathering will honor the lives lost and the bravery shown on December 7, 1941. Volunteers are also needed to help support this short but impactful ceremony.
VNN invites you to First Friday - RED Friday at Angry Hank’s Microbrewery in Billings on December 5 from 4–9 p.m. RED Friday—short for “Remember Everyone Deployed”—is a nationwide movement encouraging people to wear red on Fridays to honor those currently serving. Join VNN by wearing your RED-branded shirt or wristband, available for purchase on-site, and enjoy a pint for a purpose. Angry Hank’s will donate $1 per pint sold to support local veterans and service members through VNN’s ongoing programs and services.
Discover the thrill of adaptive climbing in a safe, encouraging environment. Eagle Mount staff and volunteers will guide veterans through techniques and equipment that make climbing accessible for everyone. It’s a unique way to challenge yourself, build confidence, and strengthen connections within the veteran community. All skill levels are welcome.

Now in its sixth year, Grateful Giving brings together community partners to provide Thanksgiving meal boxes for veterans and their families in the Billings area. Each box includes a turkey and all the traditional sides, ensuring those who have served can enjoy a warm holiday meal with their loved ones.
