Yellowstone International Airshow 2026!
Help VNN take flight at one of Billings’ biggest events of the summer!
Volunteer with VNN: Help with light setup and takedown, welcome visitors to our covered booth, share information, and assist with raffle tickets and VNN merchandise. Volunteer with the Airshow: The Yellowstone International Air Show also needs a much larger volunteer force for setup and event operations between August 14–23. Food Truck Battle on the Yellowstone
Good food, live music, and a great cause—what better way to spend a Saturday?
VNN needs volunteers to help us at the Food Truck Battle on the Yellowstone on Saturday, August 29. Help welcome guests, share information about VNN, and support our booth activities while enjoying one of Billings’ most popular summer events.
More than 40 food trucks will compete alongside live music, cold beverages, and free activities for kids. Proceeds from the event support veterans in our community.

Turn up the music, fire up the grills, and help us throw one great party!
VNN’s Thank You For Your Service Concert on Friday, September 11, will bring together veterans, service members, first responders, and their families for an energetic evening of live music from local singer/songwriter Jessica Allestad and the Lampman Hotel band—plus free burgers and brats!
We need volunteers to help welcome the crowd, check in guests, prepare and serve food, sell raffle tickets and VNN merchandise, assist at the entrance, and keep the evening running smoothly.
Come be part of the crew, enjoy the music, meet some great people, and help us create a night our community will remember.

Data Entry/Admin Volunteer
Description
As a Data Entry/Admin Volunteer, you would be part of the hands-on work behind the scenes that allows VNN to continue daily operations while ensuring critical information is handled appropriately. This volunteer position is critical, as it allows us to have and use most recent data when we need it. Also, the result of this volunteer work will aid VNN staff and other volunteers to perform their tasks in meeting the needs of the veterans we serve. Reports to the VNN Program Coordinator and this volunteers worksite is typically the VNN office at 7N 31st St. in Billings, MT. If interested, fill out our form here.
Peer Mentor Volunteer
Description
A key component of Veterans Navigation Network (VNN) is our peer mentor program where veteran mentors provide peer-to-peer support to veteran participants (mentees). Veterans are better served by having a support system that includes someone who understands military experience and the different aspects of military culture. Mentors provide a supportive relationship and encourage, guide, and motivate mentees with entry and timely completion of a variety of tasks with the goal being successful readjust to civilian life. Reports to the VNN Program Coordinator and this volunteer’s worksite is typically at their discretion with the agreement of the peer mentee. If interested, fill out our form here.
