Join the Montana VA Health Care System on Friday, May 23 for a special outdoor ceremony commemorating the renaming of the VA clinic in Butte, Montana, to the Charlie Dowd Veterans Affairs Clinic. This event honors the heroic legacy of Charlie Dowd, who was Montana’s last known living Pearl Harbor survivor, who served with distinction as a U.S. Navy radioman and was awarded two Bronze Star Medals for his bravery. A dedicated advocate for Veterans, Charlie spent his later years in Anaconda, MT, preserving the memory of WWII and supporting fellow service members. The ceremony will take place at 40 Three Bears Drive, Butte, MT—please dress for the weather.
